The original recording from 1985 was never released with the first Drones series. The mixdown tape had been lost, but we found the old master 4 track in a box under Gilli's house. After many phone calls a vintage Tascam machine was located. The tape oxide was peeling from the damp conditions but a successful digital transfer was made.A 2003 remix with extra synth and John Daltons celtic flute.

Rejoice! A new Gong egg has hatched and the little pumpkin is adorable. Not as spacey as Daevid, nor as fusiony as Pierre, but quite precocious, talented, and ohh so very Gongidocious. Gong fans dock your Teapots at the nearest space station and load this brain fuel into your warp drives immediately! Cas P

I'm enjoying a huge rediscovery of Gong thanks to my children and Steve Hillage/Miquette Giraudy!
Although my children have loved trawling through my wide and varied music collection and have each taken their own particular favourites with them, I didn't expect them to react to Gong in the way they have. It started when my youngest son and I went to see the Steve Hillage Band (Gong) last year. I played him Camembert Electrique to show him who Gong were, and it was like I'd electrified him! hobodaddi

I love this album because it features demo versions of songs that would be re recorded on the first Gong Maison album and rare songs only released on this album only which is a lost gem. Recorded just before his return to the UK after a long hiatus in Australia during the 80's after the Divided Alien Playbax 80 classic.
